Spring Collection '17

Spring is coming !
Green grass, longer days and that feeling of freshness in the air.
Flowers, not to forget about flowers !
-The Earth laughs in flowers (c) I could not agree more with this quote.

This year collection was mostly inspired by very first greens you get to see when spring comes. Every new life is like a new flower, fragile and absolutely beautiful. Green is  such a happy color and I loved using it in my works, hope you'll love it too!

DIY Valentine Cards: Monsters & dinosaurs

The Valentines Day is around the corner! And if you are like myself tend to do holiday shopping the last minute, you might find these colorful and easy to do cards a real savior. They are great as a V-Day gift to your kid friends/classmates or teachers.
Of course Pinterest is full of different ideas and templates but these two were the must for our monster/dinosaur loving family :D

1.Template from wonderful Amy{The Idea Room} here
I have printed all templates at my local Fedex on 60lb paper.
2.EOS lip balms of your choice

4.That's it, can you imagine !!

Unwrap the balms and cut the circles in templates for noses.
Fixing noses.  Little twists are so easy for little hands. Fun too!
These will go to teachers. Shall we continue with some for classmates :)

December Magic

Winter holidays are always special. Since I was a kid - anticipation of a miracle, that magic in the air never left. This year we didn't do much of house decoration as such because the first floor of it is still under remodeling. But my girl's room was a perfect place to add some holiday touches.
Started with cute Christmas tree from Home Goods. Made some ornaments of carton animals.

This little birdie also came to us from Home Goods. They always have the cutest decor. The knit hat with pom poms took my heart.

The winter issue of Better Homes was full of Christmas DIY. We picked this mittens garland and it looked great over her name shelf. We do call it a name shelf :)

Running, jumping, pretending ballerina is all the part of the process )))

These guys got their festive outwear too.

May your 2017 be Healthy and Happy ! xoxo

Crayola + Pumpkin = Fun

We love color here ! Thus seeing this project on Pinterest was a no-brainer - We Had To Do It ! There are plenty of tutorials and supplies are simple - "white" pumpkin, crayola, glue and blow dryer. Add some trash bags to cover the surface because it can get messy.
Find step-by-step instructions here: DIY Cozy Home

{Part1} Taking paper off pencils. This was probably the hardest part for little hands.
But excitement over final result kept us going.
{Part 2} Placing the pencils.
{Part 3} Melting and watching and watching and watching :)
{Part 4 } Hide from camera :p

Isn't it pretty ?!

Back to School when you are 16 months old

September is a first school month here in NY. But not for all... not if you are just 16 months old *sigh*. Then all you entitled is saying daily byes and waving to your older sister who goes to that magic yet unreachable place - school.
It was one of those days when his sis left for school, then came {as usual} a bucket of tears. He wanted to join her so badly. And so we decided to play. I had this nerd costume, bought long ago, got some books and gave him his favorite red apple, tears were gone :)
Because after all
“All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.” ... {Peter Pan}

He surely enjoyed the moment:
