NURSERY

We started to work on our gender neutral nursery when I was 30+weeks pregnant with my son. My daughter was turning 3 at the moment and it was quite a challenge to design not only for a  toddler and a baby but also for a boy and a girl.
It's a small size room and we had to coordinate a white bed for her as well as a dark chocolate Westwood Tribeca crib for him. We have painted it BM Cloud White and it worked great in the lighting we have in the room, its soft and light, but not too bright. I love that off white and we did not have any problem with undertones.

Decorating is always my favorite part. Once we've put all the furniture pieces the fun began.

My girl's name is Alisa and this is her "part" of room. I decorated it with some pale pink flowers (Home Goods) and put a composition of little birdy (Etsy) along with a adorable house I found in Target (never skip a dollar section, some great findings are there).
Block letters are from Sweet Sage Studios.

I pumped the simple white Ikea picture frame with Rub 'n Buff. Love that stuff for all my golden needs. I used it on curtain tie-backs as well. Bird is from West Elm.
