Welcome to my Happy Place ! Every crafter at some point faces the struggles of too much stuff - not enough space. My passion for fiber arts started as a part-time hobby and quickly grew to the full-time job. I was dreaming of my own "office". Unlike a standard office I knew the walls have to have at least 2 paint colors, loads of baskets for yarn, inspirational quotes and shabby chic desk :) We got the desk from Craigslist, I refurbished the hardware. Chair is from IKEA. Basket ladder is from Dot and Bo and two smaller ones from Home Goods.
I love to see my yarns exposed and not sitting somewhere in a dark closet. I got this pretty shelf from Urban Outfitters and it made a great display for my handspun.
"It always seems impossible until its done" - Nelson Mandela. How true is that ! I had a privilege to see this incredible man in London, he was a legend fighter and an amazing speaker. No wonder this famous quote is one of his, that I found out later.
I could not be any happier with the "storage system" my husband installed. Who likes the clutter on a table. Got this idea from Pinterest, using Ikea baskets from the Gardening department.
Easy and saves you tone of space!
I use this drop leaf table from Ikea as my shipping station. Very convenient and doesn't take much space. I use it daily and I have to say its well made. Read so much on Ikea hacks of converting the things for your own needs and came up with this coat rack, that made a great display/storage for my handyed wool braids. Score!
Thank you for stopping by !
